Faith-Based Reentry Teams

A faith-based reentry team is a group of 5-7 trained volunteers from one or more congregations within a community who agree to meet weekly with a recently released woman. Team members focus on 4 main areas: mentorship, accountability, goal setting, and faith formation. The team is to be both a support and a safety mechanism, while holding her accountable for her actions. With the team's prayerful encouragement and help, she can grow and develop healthy adult relationships, while maximizing her chances of successfully reintegrating into the community.
